Workersbee’s CCS2 Gen 1.1 handle is designed for high-throughput DC sites that want high current without the added complexity of a liquid-cooling loop. It supports up to 375 A at 1000 V with natural cooling, using a simpler architecture with fewer maintenance points.
Thermal and mechanical performance are engineered for daily operation. The design targets a terminal temperature rise of ≤50 K under specified test conditions and a mechanical life beyond 10,000 mating cycles, helping operators keep bays available during peak hours.
For outdoor duty, the housing is rated IP55 and meets UL94 V-0 flammability requirements. Handling is optimized for field use, with insertion and withdrawal force kept at ≤100 N to support smooth operation for drivers and site technicians wearing gloves.
Current options cover 250 A, 300 A, 350 A, and 375 A, with matching cable configurations available to fit different cabinets, routing constraints, and climate conditions.
