More and more electric vehicles are flooding the road, it's heartening to see more public AC charging stations also popping up on the roadside: Type 1 chargers with a cable attached, Type 2 chargers with a cable attached, and BYO charging stations with no cable attached. As time passes, large numbers of chargers with a cable attached have their plugs dropped or even damaged, making them unable to work. Operators' maintenance costs and pressure are increasing so more operators choose to invest in BYO chargers in shopping centers or public car parks. Bring Your Own(BYO) charger means that car owners must bring their charging cable.

By reducing cable investment and maintenance costs, operators can have more resources to invest in the construction of new stations, thereby increasing the distribution density of public chargers. This could greatly increase the desire to buy electric vehicles among apartment owners who don't have independent garages.

Not having attached cables can reduce the risk of damage and theft of the charger, improve the reliability and safety of the charger to a certain extent, and enhance the confidence of car consumers.

For car owners, having their charging cables means that the connector can perfectly match the vehicle inlet, and they no longer need to worry about the adaptability issues of public cables. More convenience, no more worrying about whether the public cables are working. Although there may still be a mismatch for multi-vehicle owners,  it still improves the charging experience. From an environmental perspective, similar to bringing your shopping bags bringing your charging cables is also a way to reduce electronic waste.

Workersbee, always committed to future green transportation solutions, has completely upgraded our EV charging cables from appearance design to structural performance. The product is compatible with almost all public chargers and various mainstream electric vehicles on the market.

The well-designed and stylish plug is covered with soft rubber, allowing customers to hold it comfortably in any season. Equipped with a removable dust cover, it is easy to open and close. Enhance the waterproof/snowproof design to protect the terminals well and prevent moisture from affecting the work. The terminal itself also adopts a rubber-covered process to prevent dust and moisture, providing double protection for the safety and stability of charging. These are important for charging in harsh outdoor environments.

The rubber-covered design of the cable tail sleeve is waterproof and anti-bending, and is very durable, extending the service life of the cable. It is a reliable choice for consumers as a BYO cable.

It supports single-phase and three-phase power output, and the maximum charging power goes up to 22kw. It also depends on the onboard charger capability of the vehicle. This means that EVs can add their mileage by 120km per hour, which will be a charging speed that satisfies EV drivers because they do not have to stand still and can go to have dinner, shop, or even watch a movie.

The surprise highlight is the upgraded cable management, which comes with a cable clip that can fix the connector on the cable and easily store it with a velcro handle. Place it neatly in the trunk and handle every charging need without panic.

Plug-shell and cable colors are customizable, providing your customers with a variety of options. The product has passed TUV/CE/UKCA certification and is easily stationed in various online stores ensuring the charging safety of car owners.

For BYO charging stations to play a greater role in the public charging market or even in the goal of promoting EV adoption, we must first increase public awareness and education. Making consumers believe that BYO chargers are more convenient is an effective means to develop sustainable green transportation. Secondly, it is also very important to optimize the interoperability between different charging infrastructures and reduce barriers to use for car owners. The future development of EV charging cables may also need to consider V2X, especially V2V - vehicle-to-vehicle power supply. Workersbee's R&D team is also actively developing such bi-directional power supply charging cables. We never stop.

With a forward-looking R&D perspective and solid production experience, and relying on strong factory strength, Workersbee deeply looks forward to working with industry partners to build a more seamless, more efficient, and greener electric vehicle ecosystem.
