Connecting Innovation with Demand: Workersbee at EVIS 2025

Apr 24, 2025

From April 21 to 23, Workersbee participated in the Electric Vehicle Innovation Summit (EVIS) 2025, held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. As one of the leading events for electric mobility in the Middle East, EVIS 2025 brought together stakeholders from government, energy, and e-mobility sectors to accelerate the transition toward cleaner transport.

For Workersbee, this exhibition was not just about visibility — it was a valuable opportunity to present our charging technologies, engage with decision-makers in a fast-evolving market, and gain first-hand insights into the region's expectations for EV infrastructure.

Putting Users First: Our Product Focus

At this year's EVIS, Workersbee focused on showcasing three core product lines developed to address common charging challenges faced by both drivers and infrastructure operators:

Portable EV Chargers: Our lightweight, easy-to-use charging units are designed for ultimate mobility, catering to drivers who need flexibility without compromising on safety or speed.

EV Charging Cables: Built to endure high temperatures and intensive use, these cables are optimized for stable performance in outdoor or industrial settings, particularly relevant for Middle Eastern climates.

EV Adapters: As the region sees a growing mix of EV models from Europe, the US, and Asia, our adapters help ensure compatibility across charging protocols — from Type 1 to Type 2 and more.

The feedback we received was encouraging. Many visitors — including local fleet operators, technical consultants, and charging service providers — emphasized the need for practical, durable, and region-ready solutions, a gap our products are able to fill.

What We Learned from the Market

While the Middle East's EV adoption rate is still developing compared to Europe or China, the momentum is evident. According to the UAE's Energy and Infrastructure Ministry, the country targets 42,000 EVs on the road by 2030, with major cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi already investing heavily in public and private charging networks.

What stood out during the summit was the clear desire for:

Scalable infrastructure that supports long-term fleet expansion

Charging equipment built to stay dependable, even when temperatures soar

Modular, mobile solutions that reduce the upfront investment required for fixed installations

These insights align closely with Workersbee's development philosophy: design products that solve real-world charging challenges, especially in emerging EV markets.

A Step Toward Long-Term Engagement

Participating in EVIS 2025 is part of Workersbee's broader commitment to serving global EV transition efforts. While we continue to grow our footprint in Europe and Southeast Asia, the Middle East has emerged as a region of strategic importance — one where we see both market need and a shared ambition for clean mobility.

Looking ahead, we will deepen our engagement by exploring distribution partnerships, supporting pilot programs, and localizing product offerings to better meet regional standards.

Collaborating for a Smarter EV Future

EVIS 2025 provided a valuable platform not only to display our technology but also to listen to what this region needs, what users expect, and how we can contribute meaningfully. We extend our thanks to the event organizers, our visitors, and future partners who took the time to engage with our team during the exhibition.

At Workersbee, we believe electric mobility isn't just about power — it's about possibility. And after three insightful days in Abu Dhabi, we're more committed than ever to powering that future.
